Q: what is the best brand of coffee grinder. also electric vs. hand grinder? why?
also where is a site showing how to sharpen knives pref. with added video. can a bread knife be sharpened. (put in 2 questions because down on pts. they say) thanks.

A: I have a Cuisinart electric grinder (the only way to go is electric). I've had mine for over 10 years and no problem. I also have another that I use just for grinding spices... Regarding your serrated knife-if it did not cost alot of money and is not high quality, better to just toss it and buy a new one. If it is high quality, you will want a pro to sharpen it--but it's not gonna be cheap--they are labor intensive to sharpen.

Q: What is best - Electric or manual turning coffee grinder.?
How is ground coffee granule size determined. Does it matter.

A: I LIKE MY ELECTRIC GRINDER...ITS QUICK,THOROUGH AND UNIFORM

Q: Looking for info. on a Coffee Mill / Grinder
I found an old vintage electric coffee mill made by Cincinnati Time Recorder Co. It weighs about 65 lbs. and is in good shape. Plugged it in and the motor runs smoothly too. I could not see letting it get tossed in a landfill. But I can not find any info on this particular grinder. The company mostly made time clocks dating back to 1896. And I think they made kitchen items up till the mid 1940's. Would like to determine if it is worthless or an item that someone would collect? It is a model #225 if that helps anyone.

A: put it on e-bay if you don't find someone here how wants it maybe someone will want it
